What’s your background?
Almost 17 years experience amassed in the support services sector, 11 in specialist recruitment appointing senior professionals throughout the West and South West, 7 of which saw me perform the role of operational Director within a major corporate.  I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with a cross section of clients from owner-managed businesses through to major corporates throughout my career.  I am immensely proud to have played a role in the formation and success of VANA and eternally grateful to the clients and candidates that have supported us.

Your favourite outdoor activity?
That’s difficult. Does eating ‘al fresco’ count?

What would you be doing if you weren’t with VANA?
If money was no object, I would be developing a boutique hotel on the coast. I’d employ a good manager so I could spend some time playing on the beach with my little ones, Alfie and Daisy.

What motivates you?
I always wanted to be successful in business and for my Dad to be proud of my achievements. Most of all though, I’m motivated by being quite simply happy and healthy in life.

What’s your perfect day?
At work? Interviewing a great candidate, visiting a client, arranging some interviews, facilitating an offer and closing a deal. There’s nothing more satisfying than concluding a successful campaign. Socially, I’d be enjoying life with my husband Ian and twins Alfie and Daisy.

Your weaknesses?
Chocolate and caffeine.

What’s your most amazing travel experience?
Travelling through South Africa from Cape Town to the Ulusaba private game reserve via two very small planes, meeting some fantastic people and viewing some of the best game before heading down to Camps Bay for ten days relaxing. I will cherish the memories forever and I’d love to return with the kids one day.
